խառնվացքի մասին առաջին հիմքը դրել է հին Հունաստանի բժշկապետ Հիպոկրատը(մ.թ.ա. 460-377թթ.): Այնուհետև այդ թեմայով մեծ գիտական աշխատանք է կատարել Կլավդինոս Գալենից (մ.թ.ա. 281-201թթ.) մարդու խառնվացքերը հիմնականում չորսնեն

Սագվինիկ. Այս տիպին են պատկանում այն մաւդիկ,ովքեր օժտված են բարձր ակտիվությամբ և ռեակտիվությամբ :

  

Խոլերիկ. Խոլերիկը ևս չափազանց ակտիվ է, սակայն դժվար է զսպում սեփական հույզերը:

Ֆլեգմատիկ. Արտաքնապես հանգիստ է և հավասարակշռված : նրան դժվար է հավասարակշռությունից հանել, քանզի բավական զուսպ է:

Մելանխոլիկ. Ունի բարձր զվայունություն, ցանկացած մանրուքից վիրավորվում է:

At 1 o’clock we have lunch. I usually have lunch at school. For lunch I have a sandwich and apple. But on Tuesday we have 3 lessons. So I come home at 12 o’clock and have lunch with my family.
Tuesday is my favourite day.

IN THE AFTERNOON
Hello! I am Ann Brown. I am eleven and I am a schoolgirl. Now I want to tell you what I usually do in the afternoon.
Our classes are over at 1 o’clock. I do not usually have lunch at school and I am very hungry when I come home. My mother lays the table in the kitchen and I eat sandwiches and drink a cup of milk. Then I clean my room and do my lessons. I do not want to be busy in the evening. I like to watch TV and to play computer games when I am free in the evening. 

My uncle Sam has a wife, a son and a daughter. He doesn’t get up early and doesn’t have breakfast. He likes his job.
On Wednesday he goes to work.
His wife is a doctor.
She doesn’t like her job, because it isn’t interesting. She has a sandwich for lunch at 12 o’clock.
She finishes her work at 7 o’clock.
In the evening after work she likes to watch TV. 

There is some water in the glass. Is there any water in the glass? There isn’t any water in the glass. There is much water in the glass.

Tom’s school is not very big. There are ten classrooms and a big hall in it. There are desks, a teacher’s table and a chalkboard in every classroom. There are nice pictures on the walls and a bookcase with many interesting books in it.
Tom has classes five days a week. Classes begin at 9 o’clock. He usually has 5 or 6 lessons every day. He studies English, Maths, History, Geography, Nature Studies, Art and Music. At 12.30 he has lunch. For lunch he usually has meat pudding, an apple or a cake. His classes are over at 3 o’clock and then he goes home. Sometimes after classes he stays at school to play football in the school yard. Tom says he likes his school very much and is always happy when Monday comes. 

TOM THUMB (part one)
This story is very old. It is not true, but many children like it.
A husband and a wife had no children and they were very sad. There were many nice flowers in their garden, and one day they found a little boy in one flower. He was as small as a man’s thumb. They called him Tom Thumb. 

TOM GOES TO SCHOOL
Tom is a schoolboy, he lives in London and goes to school there.
In England the school year begins in September, but it never begins on Monday. English people think that Monday is not a good day to start school. They usually begin their school year on the first Tuesday of September.

Բարեկենդան բառի բացատրությունը նշանակում է կենդանություն,բարի կյանք:Բուն բառը կազմված է բարի և կենդանություն բառերից:Նախկին գրափառում նշանակել է ուրախություն:
Տոնը եղել է գարնան սկսվելուն ընդ առաջ:Ու պատահական չէ զվարճությունները,մարդկան վերակենդանացնելու խորհուրդ ուներ:Մարդիկ մաղթում էին իրար որպիսի լինի բարի կենդանություն:Տոնին մասնակցում էր թէ մեծ, թէ փոքր:2-3 օր առաջ բոլորը դադարում էին աշխատել:Մի խոսքով զվարճանում էին:
Բուն բարեկենդանը բացի զվարճանքներից նաև ազատության օրեր:Բարեկենդանի երեկոն բոլորը միասին էին անցկացնում,ուտում էին ու խմում:Քանզի առջևում յոթշաբատյա պասն էր:Վերջում ուտում էին ձու՝ բերանը կողպելու համար,որպեսզի զատիկին ձվով բանան:
